If you look into the lesser known accounts from people who have medically died and been resuscitated, you can draw some hasty conclusions about the way that the afterlife works. The most common one amongst a certain population sees the departed laying comfortably in a fog, as if on a surface. It's a nice temperature, youre too comfortable to move, but you're awake. A gentle stream can be heard nearby.
Not everyone goes here however. During my NDE's, I saw a nexus of souls shining bright, flying around a central point. Our light grows stronger towards the center, where the presence of Gd can be felt. Closer to the center, the people sing. its a joyous place, no matter what happens. On the outskirts, bands of souls can be seen flying preset routes. I call these the Highways. Here, people are lost in discussion on the big picture. All that happens in life. These souls are still living, and do not know where they are. They are too lost in conversation. Further still from the center, in the great void, you can discover your purpose in life. It comes in the form of a vignette. A short clip that sums up the most important thing you do in your life.
